Yeezy’s commitment to an authentic earthy aesthetic is undeniable. The core intention behind the design was to seamlessly harmonize the shoe with its packaging. Given Kanye’s renowned penchant for minimalism, it becomes imperative to not only acknowledge but also embrace this aesthetic essence.

Therefore, I designed an earthy and rustic aesthetic for the Yeezy 500 box, aligning it perfectly with the shoes it houses. Constructed from wood, the box embodies a tactile connection to nature that mirrors Kanye’s distinctive style. The crowning touch is a transparent plastic lid, which offers a dual advantage. Beyond its functional purpose of safeguarding the shoes, it elegantly showcases them without necessitating their removal from the box. This thoughtful combination of form and function encapsulates the very essence of Yeezy’s design philosophy.
